Ciara has been in private practice since 2006, serving both the local community and clients across Ireland and abroad. Her clinic is based in Templemore, North Co. Tipperary.

Ciara’s early career as a research scientist in medical genetics in the UK and Ireland fostered her attention to detail and curiosity about how and why things work and the benefits of systems thinking in approaching complex problems.

A career shift led Ciara to earn an Honours Degree in Herbal Medicine from Westminster in 2006, paving the way for a fulfilling career. Throughout the years of practice and living through her own health struggles the practice has honed and specialised its competency to deal with complex presentations by seeing them from many angles, nutrition, functional medicine, herbal medicine and the latest in scientific evidence. Working with nutrigenomics since 2019 has added another layer to breaking down and personalising protocols and treatments for patients, thi has been particularly useful when working with patients in the areas of thyroid health and mood disorders.
