Herbal medicines cannot be posted outside of Ireland, but I may be able to recommend local alternatives depending on where you live. In Ireland; First consultations take place in person at the Clinic in Templemore, follow ups can be done remotely if appropriate.
Herbal medicine consultation
Initial consultation €110/90 mins, follow up consultation €60 /45mins.
A first consultation typically lasts around 90 minutes, and the time tends to pass quickly. During this initial consult, we’ll have a conversation about your concerns and how I can support you. I’ll ask questions about your medical history, family history and current health, and we’ll explore aspects of your diet and lifestyle.
If appropriate, a physical examination may be conducted—this could include checking your pulse, measuring blood pressure, examining your skin, nails, and ears, and listening to your lungs or heart. A urine test may also be performed, along with other clinical assessments commonly carried out by GPs, such as evaluations of the nervous system, musculoskeletal function, abdomen, and cardiovascular health. Any relevant blood tests or medical reports will be reviewed and interpreted. The goal of this consultation is to collaborate on a treatment plan tailored to your needs, developed jointly between you and I.

Maybe you have been dealing with a chronic condition that is not turning around with the usual routes, or you would just like to feel more energised, more present in your life, maybe look forward to a healthy retirement with plenty of mobility to do the things you want to do?
Whether it is a long-term illness (excludes cancer), or you are going through a stressful or emotional transition which is affecting your health, you may benefit from a review of what you are doing to support yourself. This could be your nutrition, hormone levels, or even a current treatment plan. I can review your medical reports and tests to have a discussion about the ways in which herbs, supplements, nutrition and lifestyle interventions may help you to be your best or give you direction on relevant investigations which may guide you back to health.
This consultation is followed up with an email outlining things discussed and suggestions to achieve your goals.
Nutrigenomics

The curiosity I had as a research scientist working on the Human Genome Project in Oxford University so many years ago has never left me. In a way the assimilation of nutrigenomics and epigenetics into modern functional medicine is the fullfillment of the promise that was layed in front of me all those years ago studying what was a very exciting area of science at the time.
Each time I open a patient’s report, I feel a genuine sense of curiosity and purpose. It’s like piecing together a unique puzzle—bringing together the fragments of their biology and history so they can better understand themselves and their body. This clarity empowers them to make smarter choices about diet, lifestyle, and interventions. For many, it becomes the catalyst to step away from inherited patterns of disease or to redirect a trajectory they may already be on.
OPTION 1:
3 x 4 Genetics At-Home DNA Analysis and Genetic Testing – 3X4 Genetics. The cost is €299, the turn around time is 28 days, results are released to me and we arrange a consultation to go through the results and determine how they can benefit your future and present health.
BENEFITS: This is a good overall work up for general health and wellbeing and understanding what kind of diet might best suit your needs, its a systems biology approach looking at the areas of : Weight balance, fitness and tissue health, hormone health, brain health, heart health and blood sugar regulation.
FEE for intial exploratory consult (40 min) to get a history and decide if this is the best test for you, plus the follow up consult with summary of how the report can be adapted to your lifestyle and nutrition/herbs if desired (90 minutes) : €300
OPTION 2: Lifecode Gx Products — Lifecode Gx
Initial panel plus test kit €240, further test panels €140 each (may be subject to change with GBP rates). I reccommend a minimum of 2 panels but 3 is ideal. Turn around time is usually 28 days, you have 6 months from the date of the first test to add on subsequent panels. Total test cost for 3 would be €520, cost for 2 would be €380.
BENEFITS: More in depth analysis of different systems put together in a logical format with ease of interpretation. Best suited to clients with particular interests like fertility, hormone health, cancer support, metabolic health, mental health (trying to find the right medication or come off long term medication and looking for support), nutrition optimisation, Thyroid disease Graves/Hashimotos. Includes some snps and panels that are not in the 3 x 4 Genetics reports.
FEE: 2 reports includes initial consult (40 min) to determine which panels or combinations will give you the best information and report consult (90min) with a summary report/interpretation to keep. €250

If you have done nutrigenomics with me and would like to continue to consult with me, subsequent appointments will be charged at 60€ for 45 mins or €75 for 1 hr.
